Lesson 5: Using Classroom Response System in Spanish Class Objective:
Students will be able to use Spanish vocabulary and short phrases to address family members. Students will be able to use familiar and formal greetings in conversational setting. Materials:
Teacher’s Spanish vocabulary (PowerPoint presentation with imbedded quiz links)
Classroom Response System for student’s response
Procedure:
Students will review vocabulary lesson for “Family and Home.” Students will be assigned clickers for vocabulary / Spanish phrase quiz portion of lesson. Real-time feedback will motivate response time for individual students or student groups. Assessment:
Teacher will have real-time assessment measures for individual students or student groups, based on assigned clickers. Portions of quiz can be repeated based on % of student pass / fail levels. Standards:
